Commercial Credit won the toss and elected to bat first. Former Sri Lanka U19 player Akeel Inham continued his red hot form with the bat once again by scoring a brisk 63 at the top. The middle order too contributed for CC which helped them post 250 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 50 overs. Adeesha Thilanchana and Ranga Cooray scored 42 and 41 respectively.

Commercial Credit had the upper hand going in to the innings break but the response from Singer was clinical. Former Royalist Devind Pathmanadan together with Sachin Jacob composed the run chase perfectly. Devind top scored with 83 to go with his 3 wicket haul earlier in the day. The finishing job was done by Rajith Priyan who remained unbeaten on 51 to take his team home with 5 wickets in hand.
