Sri Lanka limited-overs captain Angelo Mathews will lead the Sri Lanka Board XI in the two-day tour game against the touring South Africans on 7th and 8th July at P. Sara Oval Grounds.
Mathews who returned from the West Indies after the first Test due to the birth of his second child will use this game as vital match practice ahead of the two-match Test series which starts on 12th July in Galle.
From the squad which toured West Indies, Dhananjaya De Silva, Roshen Silva, Danushka Gunathilaka and Asitha Fernando will also feature in this game along with experienced Kaushal Silva.
