Skipper Sujan Perera denied The Pirates with two acrobatic saves while another bounced off the crossbar and into safety.

Half Time – Seychelles 0 – 0 Sri Lanka

The game looked rather lethargic from Sri Lanka even though they had much of the possession, while the visitors looked to go on the counter-attack.

68th minute saw Seychelles taking the lead through Warren Mellie who headed in from a Henry Ravignia corner with Perera in no-man’s land. Sri Lanka made a string of changes in search of an equalizer and a possible winner but it never came as Seychelles broke out into a dance at the final whistle.
