The Super 8 match between Army SC and Blue Star SC was abandoned at halftime due to a water logged pitch with Army leading 2-0 in the Dialog Champions League, at the Sugathadasa Stadium.
The 4th Super 8 match between Army and Blue Star was abandoned due to water a logged pitch because of heavy rain in the first half. Army was at that time were leading 2-0 courtesy of goals from Punsara Thiruna and Sanka Danushka.
Thiruna scored inside the first minute taking advantage of a bad pass by Rangana Silva and Danushka scored when Manjula Fernando spilled a free-kick by Udaya Keerthi at the feet of on rushing Danushka who slotted it in.
The match will recommence on the 3rd November (Tuesday) at 3.00pm at CR&FC.
