Sri Lanka’s team manager, Asantha de Mel confirmed to ThePapare.com that Malinga will leave England to attend his Mother-in-law’s funeral in Sri Lanka but is expected to join the team again on the 14th June, before the team’s next game.

Sri Lanka will face Australia on the 15th of June at Kennington Oval, London, therefore Malinga’s trip back to Sri Lanka will not have an impact on his availability for the game.
