The fancied BRC outfit batting first were shot out for just 102, with Kavika Dilshan doing the damage.

Dilshan spun a web around the BRC batting while he got good support from Sathik who returned top figures of 4/30.

The only noteworthy performance with the bat for the visitors came from Kalana Madushanka who made 42. Nimantha Gunasiri made a quick-fire 23 runs but it wasn’t enough to stop his side from being bowled out inside 40 overs.

Dilshan, who represents LB Finance in Mercantile A division tournament, ended with outstanding figures of 5/36.

Navy SC too struggled in their reply before a fighting half century from Savindu Peiris made sure they went ahead of BRC on first innings.
