Two matches of the SLC Major Clubs Limited Overs Tournament worked off today (17th July) at Colombo.
Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club registered a thumping win over Badureliya Sports Club today at P. Sara Oval Grounds, Colombo. The half-centuries from Isuru Udana (51) and Raveen De Silva (50) helped the Tamil Union post 280/9 in the allotted 50 overs.
It was a walk-in-the-park victory for Tamil Union as their spinners Dilruwan Perera (5/08), Navod Paranavithana (2/08) and Dilum Sudeera (2/19) bowled brilliantly to restrict the opposition to just 82 runs, clinching a massive 198-run win.

Colts Cricket Club also recorded a comprehensive win in their encounter against Bloomfield Cricket & Athletic Club today at Colts Ground, Colombo. Sheran Fonseka (53*) and Muditha Lakshan (5/23) were the chief architects of Colts victory.
