The 2nd semifinal of the SLC Major Club Emerging 3-Day Tournament 2022 began today (8th April) as Group A winners Sebastianites C & AC took on Group D winners Colts CC at the P. Sara Oval Stadium in Colombo.
The Sebastianites were able to face just 8.1 overs as rain arrived to halt proceedings of the day in Wanathamulla. Early in the day Colts CC skipper Jehan Daniel won the toss and invited Tharusha Fernando’s boys to take the first lease of the wicket. Daniel sharing the new ball with Dilshan Madushanka straight away reaped the dividend of his decision with a wicket off the first ball he bowled in the 2nd over of the innings by dismissing Yohan Perera.
The game will resume tomorrow.
