Former Sri Lanka U19 Team Manager Mahinda Halangoda has been appointed as Team Manager of the Sri Lanka National Cricket team for the upcoming Bangladesh series.
Former S. Thomas College cricket captain and SSC Skipper Halangoda had worked as the Team Manager of Sri Lanka U19 in several stints in the past.

Sri Lanka will play a 02 match test series during the tour of Bangladesh, under the ICC World Test Championship.
