Former Sri Lanka skipper Mahela Jayawardene has praised a kid’s bowling action on Twitter after his father requested feedback from the Sri Lankan legend.

Jayawardene encouraged the kid by comparing the bowling action to South African pacer Dale Steyn.
Mahela replied with a few pointers – “Looks very good. Bit like Dale Steyn. Quick through the crease. My only concern is front foot landing which is very open and puts lot of stress on the ankle. good luck”

Meanwhile, the current Sri Lanka Head Coach has also responded with positive feedback.
“He looks very good and action is very similar to Dale Steyn. His front leg landing is chest on and needs to get side on. Just watch out for a mixed action but looks as if your son has lots of real potential,” Arthur replied.
