Batting first, Mahanama College posted 213/8 in the allotted 40 overs with Nihindu Wickramatunga producing a blistering knock to put his side on top at the end of the first essay in the game.
Wickramatunga stroked unbeaten 53 runs off 41 balls with 6 fours at a strike rate of 129.27. Lahiru Wijewardhana was the pick of the bowlers for D.S. Senanayake College as he grabbed 3 scalps for 39 runs.
