The above tournament, organized by Royal College, Colombo was held recently, with nineteen teams competing in the Under-15 category.
Lyceum Wattala scrabblers emerged Champions in the Under-15 category winning all 5 rounds, with a margin of 4402. The Lyceum Wattala team comprised of Thavalakshman Yoganathan, Migara Jayasinghe (Captain), Lambhotharan Yoganathan (Vice Captain), Nusrath Sariffo’deen and Hayati Rassool with the adjudicator Mr. Kandhan Mahendran (Treasurer of the Sri Lanka Scrabble League) and the Chief Guest Mr. Wimal Fernando (President of the Sri Lanka Scrabble League).
