Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) have announced the captains and coaching staffs of all five franchises for the 3rd edition of Lanka Premier League which will commence tomorrow (06th December) at Hambantota.
Former Sri Lankan seaming all-rounder Thisara Perera will lead the Jaffna Kings, having led the franchise to the title in last two seasons. Thilina Kandamby who served as the head coach of the victorious Jaffna Kings last season, will continue to work as the head coach of the franchise this season as well.

Sri Lankan national cricketers Angelo Mathews (Colombo Stars), Kusal Mendis (Galle Gladiators), Dasun Shanaka (Dambulla Aura) and Wanindu Hasaranga (Kandy Falcons) are the other four captains named for the LPL franchises.
