Dharmapala College put up a splendid batting demonstration taking on Maris Stella College in their inter school cricket match which took place at Kadirana grounds today.
Dharmapala College who won the toss scored a total of 200 runs for 4 wickets in 74 overs. H.Liyanage displayed some skill scoring a well constructed 101 runs in 163 balls. H.Gallage was unbeaten for 24 runs while A. Jayasanka and Y. Radella scored 34 and 17 runs as well. S.Chathuranga took 2 wickets for 52 runs in favor of the Maris Stella team.

De Mazenod college v St Aloysius
The inter school under 19 cricket tournament between De Mazenod College Kandana and St. Aloysius Galle continued today in Kandana. The home side continued their playing and scored 119 runs for 7 wickets off 41 overs.
Rachith Wishwapula and Rumesh Perera were unbeaten on a score of 22 and 18 runs while Romario Soyza chipped in with 24.
Rushmika Dhananjaya and Yasiru Tharaka were merciless ending up with 2 and 4 wickets each.
St. Aloysius College were 27 runs in 11 overs in the first innings when the days play ended. Akila Gimhana and Ruchitha Sandakelum were at the crease on 16 and 10 runs respectively.
