Asia Lions beat World Giants by 6 wickets in the second match of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) Tournament, held today (20th January) at Oman.
Asia Lions Skipper Misbah-ul-Haq won the toss and chose to bowl first at Al Amerat Cricket Grounds. The World Giants posted a massive 205 runs for 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs, setting a stiff target for the opposition.
Former Ireland Cricketer Kevin O Brien smashed a blistering knock of 95 runs off 46 balls with 7 fours and 7 sixes. Former Sri Lankan Cricketer Nuwan Kulasekara and Pakistan all-rounder Mohammad Hafeez picked up 2 wickets each for Asia Lions.

Asia Lions chased down the target in 19.2 overs with 6 wickets in hand, thanks to a match winning partnership between Sri Lankan pair Upul Tharanga and Tillakaratne Dilshan, who added 88 runs for the 2nd wicket.
Tharanga top-scored with 63 runs off 43 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes while Dilshan contributed with 52 runs off 32 balls with 2 fours and 3 sixes.
