LB Finance defeated John Keells Holdings (JKH) 4-1 to win the Cup Championship in the 2017 Mercantile Futsal Championship played at the Futsal World.

Mohamed Rizmi and Hakeem Kamil scored two each for the champions while Udara scored the only goal for the rising stars of Mercantile football, John Keells Holdings.
In the Cup semi-final, LB Finance won 1-0 courtesy of an own goal from Amana Bank goalkeeper. Expo Lanka and JKH were involved in a thrilling semi-final which went into penalties. At full time it was 3-3 with Zarwan Johar and Mohamed Rifnaz (2) scoring for Expo and Darrel, Sanjula Thilan and Udara scoring for JKH.

In the Plate Final, WNS Global thumped Ceylinco Insurance 5-0. For WNS it was Mohamed Ashraf, Udara Habakkele (2), Mohamed Thawshif and Mohamed Mudeeb getting on the score sheet. In the Plate semi-final Ceylinco defeated Standard Chartered Bank 1-0 and WNS Global defeated Eskimo Fashions 2-0.

In the Cup 3rd place Expo Lanka hammered Amana Bank 5-0 with Rifnaz scoring twice while Ahamed Shanzy, Zarwan and Mohamed Siraj scored one each. The Plate 3rd place match was a goal-fest where Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) won 6-2 against Eskimo Fashions. Dushmantha and Pradeep scored for Eskimo Fashions while Benzy (3), Mohamed Nafees, Mohamed Nafaz and Mohamed Abdulla scored for SCB.
