Lans Copral W.C Asantha emerged the best suppressor at the Kabadi tournament which was held at Kilinochchi Forces Headquarters on 12th May.
The tournament which was organized according to a concept of Mr. D. G. U. A Perera Army Commander, Kilinochchi was concluded wth the purpose of uplifting the mentality of the soldiers.
Among 14 unbeatable teams, Sri Lanka 9th Signal Core and 6th Engineering Regiment were nominated to the finals. It was an amazing battle between the two teams but Sri Lanka Signal Core team was defeated by their counterpart 6th Engineering Regiment.
The awarding ceremony was held with the participation of SFHQ Brigadier Mudannayake and other army officers.
