The De Mazenod college took on St. Sebastian College today in an inter school cricket encounter which played at De Mazenod grounds.
Mazinned College who won the toss decided to bat first and managed to score 220 runs in 69.2 overs for 10 wickets. Lahiru Wickarameinghe took the battle to their counterparts to score 142 runs remaining unbeaten and Krishane Sanjul scored 29 runs.
St. Sebastian’s College in their first innings faced 20 overs for the loss of 2 wicket scoring 56 runs. Gayan Silva and Sangeeth Coorey contributed with 22 and 23 runs and remained unbeaten.
