Sri Lankan dashing left-hander Kusal Perera has been ruled out from Sri Lanka squad for the upcoming T20I series against Bangladesh due to an illness.
Perera who was initially included in the squad, will not take part in the series as he is suffering from a respiratory infection. Perera did not join the team, which left for Bangladesh yesterday (29th February).
The wicket-keeper batter Niroshan Dickwella has been added to the squad to replace Perera. Dickwella will join the team tomorrow (2nd March) to take part in the series.
The three-match T20I series between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be played on the 4th, 6th and 9th March at Sylhet.
