In the already hotly contested schools U-19 segment an exciting T-20 has infused with renewed energy with the introduction of Kotmale Chox as sponsor of this set-to-ignite tournament. Cargills introducing their new malt drink Kotmale Chox together with the Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association get the T -20 under way from 1-12th April 2013.
The Kotmale Chox T-20 Under-19 Inter-School League 2013 will have the cream of schools cricket battling it out in the sorter form of the game. Representing all areas of the country, Trinity College, Kandy, Dharmashoka College Ambalangoda, St. Benedict’s College Kotahena , Prince of Wales College and St Sebastians College Moratuwa, De Mazenod College, Kandana, Joseph Vaz College Wennapuwa, Nalanda College, D. S. Senanayake College, Lumbini College, St. Peter’s College, Wesley College, Ananda College and St Joseph’s College Colombo, Richmond College, Galle, and Gurukula MV, are set to vie for supremacy in the shorter version of the game.
Sixteen schools having played exceptional cricket this season, have been selected to take part in the tournament to fight for the Kotmale Chox T-20 Under-19 Inter-School League championship.
Speaking at the briefing Mr Wahid the Managing Director Cargills (Ceylon) Plc stated “Kotmale Chox is an emerging brand that has shown a lot of vitality within a very short period of time. This association we have established with emerging cricketing talent will be the first in a number of partnerships we hope to build with youth and sports.
