Sri Lanka’s middle-order batter Kamindu Mendis has jumped into the Top 10 in the latest ICC Test Batting Rankings.
Mendis has moved up to the 10th place in the rankings with 716 rating points.
The 26-year old southpaw has been in terrific form ever since his debut in Test cricket.
He has amassed 1004 runs in 8 matches with a staggering average of 91.28 and became the fastest Sri Lankan to reach the 1000-run milestone in Test cricket.
