Schools Rugby will continue till September this year with the governing body, the Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association announcing dates for the upcoming sevens and junior tournaments.
The Under 19 sevens that usually takes place following the conclusion of the Milo President’s Trophy will be held later in the year, with the Advanced Level examinations scheduled to take place shortly after the conclusion of the Knockouts.
The sevens tournament will kick off in September after the GCE Advanced Level examinations.
Meanwhile, the Under 18 Sevens will kick off on the 17th of August and this will be a good opportunity for the emerging players to showcase their talent with a Under 18 Asia Sevens series around the corner.
The premier competition for the under 16’s, the 10-a-side tournament will take place on the 10th and 11th of August 2019 in Kandy.
