The official Josephian college vehicle parade for annual Joe-Pete limited over encounter is scheduled to take place on Saturday, the 14th March 2015, commencing at 7.30AM from the college premises.
The parade will journey towards the R. Premadasa stadium with a colourful convoy of vehicles all featuring the mystic college colours of blue and white. This parade will be organized for the 4th consecutive year by the Joes batch of 2006, which has been identified as a very active college batch and also proudly includes the Sri Lanka national team captain Angelo Mathews.
This year’s parade will see the participation of biker riders and the biggest Papare band that Colombo will ever see in addition to mascots and many other attractions. Participants will be able to join the Parade army, along with the float and obtain a parade sticker in addition to being able to get their faces painted in preparation for the match. A prize will be given away to the owner of the best decorated vehicle in the parade and all Josephians, present and past are encouraged to take part and bring along their vehicles and join the parade and make this the longest parade in college cricket history.
