England seamer Jofra Archer has been ruled out of the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka which will consist of 2 Test matches, due to a low-grade stress fracture in his right elbow.

The 24-year-old fast bowler sustained a bone stress injury to his right elbow following England’s opening Test against South Africa at Centurion last month and was ruled out of the final three matches of a series, Joe Root’s team won 3-1.

Archer will miss an important tour to the emerald isle as it will be part of the ICC test championship which will carry 120 points.
The fiery seamer from Barbados will also be ruled out of IPL 2020 which will begin on 29th March and is hoping to recover for the 3-match Test series in June against West Indies.
