JPL – Jaffna Premier League, T20 Cricket tournament will take place among rated Cricket clubs in the Jaffna district between 10th of May to 29th of June 2014.
This 20-over Cricket Tournament is oraganized by Your Friend Foundation. JPL Season 1 was worked off to a successful culmination which featured a league with 8 teams from Jaffna. This was a first for Jaffna, a colourful celebration of Cricket which included coloured jerseys and a white ball.
KCCC Sports Club won the 1st Trophy of Jaffna Premier League.
The Season 2 of Jaffna Premier League has been scheduled to May 10th with 20 teams and consists of 48 matches, the finals of which will be worked off at the Jaffna Hindu College Grounds. Jaffna Cricket lovers eagerly await the tournament which gives them an opportunity to be entertained to some good cricket
