Isipathana College took on St. Aloysius’ College in their under 19 cricket encounter recently. Isipathana College were bowled out for 199 in 70.5 overs.
Kamindu Perera was the top scorer with 43 while Matheesha Ranaweera & Sulindu Perera chipped in with 38 and 32 respectively while Chameera Dassanayake contributed with 28 runs.
Ashen Bandara was superb with the bowling claiming 5 wickets for 54 runs. Pramod Chathuranga supported him with 3 wickets. At stumps the aloysians had faced 17 overs and scored 45 runs in their first innings. Ruchira Sandakelum and Akila Gimhana remained unbeaten on 21 and 22 runs respectively.
