Isipathana vs Dharmapala
Left-handed batsman Pramod Maduwantha’s superb century was overawed by Himasha Liyanage’s match-saving century as Isipathana College were deprived of an outright win by the gutsy boys from Dharmapala College, Pannipitiya at BRC grounds.
Batting first, Isipathana amassed a mammoth 329 runs for 7 wickets with the young left-hander, Pramod Maduwantha smashing an unbeaten century. Vishad Randika fell 9 runs short of a century while skipper Salinda Ushan chipped in with 36. Pasindu Keshan was the pick of the bowlers taking a 5-wicket haul. Dharmapala in their 1st innings were rattled by the Pathana bowlers as they only mustered 117 runs. Middle-order batsman, Koshan Rathnayake top-scored with 41 runs for the visitors while left-arm spinner Chameera Dissanayake took 3 wickets for the hosts. Isipathana enforced the follow-on with 60+ overs to bowl out the visitors but a valiant century by the Dharmapala opening batsman; Himasha Liyanage ensured Isipathana only bagged the first innings points out of this fixture.

Richmond vs Revatha
Bad weather conditions in Maggona helped out the hosts, Revatha College, Balapitiya to save their match against the defending champions, Richmond College, Galle which ended in a draw.
Only 84 overs were possible on both days as Richmond showcased their supremacy once again by stroking 307 runs for the loss of only 4 wickets in 44 overs on day 1. Left-handed Kamindu Mendis smashed 110 runs in no time while skipper Sithara Gimhan and Wanindu Hasaranga too scored half-centuries. Revatha in their reply were completely diminished for 87 runs with off-spinner Charith Asalanka bagging 6 wickets.
