The 5th and final Visually-Impaired Cricket T20 between hosts India and Sri Lanka concluded with the hosts completing a 10 wicket win and a clean sweep of the series at Faridhad.

It was another drubbing for the Lankans at the hands of the world champions. The hosts won the toss and put the visitors to bat first.

The Sri Lankan openers failed to get a good start as both perished cheaply. However, Saman Thushara and Chandana Deshapriya resurrected the innings through a much needed partnership for the 3rd wicket. Deshapriya went on to score 52 runs off just 35 balls while Thushara chipped in with 32. Apart from those two batsmen, the rest failed to make a notable contribution as the Indians restricted Sri Lanka to just 153 runs. Ajay Kumar was the pick of the bowlers with 2 for 20 runs.

The chase was clinical from the Indians. Once again they showed the firepower in their batting. Openers, Ajay Kumar and Deepak Malik dominated the Lankan bowlers who had no answer whatsoever to stop the onslaught. Deepak was the chief destroyer with a blistering knock of 88 runs off just 50 balls. The pair took only 13 overs to reach the target and seal a huge win by 10 wickets.
