The second edition of the Ali’s ICPL T20 makes its way to Sri Lanka and will begin on the 7th of January 2017.
The first edition of the tournament was successfully completed in Dubai last year and the sponsors Ali Tours and Travels will take all action to make sure the second season will be held in Sri Lanka.

The tournament sponsors hope to have 8 teams run by academies in two groups of 4 and have begun inviting many countries from around the cricketing nations. Each team will comprise of six U-19 players along with 5 senior iconic players from their nations. The group stage matches will be played at the P. Sara Oval as the semifinals and finals will be played at R. Premadasa stadium. The final will conclude under lights.
Founder Mr. Ali Asfak Thara has also thanked former Sei Lankan Cricketer Sanath Jayasuriya for been the ambassador mentioning ” I would like to thank Sanath for been the ambassador of the event and would hope to see him spend time, teach the youngsters and be a role model for them”
The unveiling of the trophy will happen on the 6th of January 2017.
