Sri Lanka’s second warm-up game of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 abandoned due to rain.
Sri Lanka were scheduled take on Ireland in their second warm-up game of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup today (13th October) at Junction Oval in Melbourne, but the match was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to the prevailing rainy conditions.
In the first warm-up game, Sri Lanka registered a convincing 33-run win over Zimbabwe, getting their World Cup preparations onto a bright start.
Sri Lanka will begin their World Cup campaign on the 16th October when they take on Namibia in the first match of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Geelong.
