Hayleys Group and CL Synergy Limited were declared joint champions of the 30th Singer-MCA Super Premier Knockout.
The final of the tournament between Hayleys Group (A) and CL Synergy Limited was scheduled to be played yesterday (20th May) at the MCA Grounds, but the game had to be abandoned without a ball being bowled due to the wet outfield.

CL Synergy Limited and Hayleys Group qualified for the final of the tournament registering convincing wins over Fairfirst Insurance and CDB Finance respectively in the semi-final encounters.
In the league stage, the finalists Hayleys Group finished at the 2nd place in the points table with 4 wins in 7 games while CL Synergy Limited were placed at the 4th place with 4 wins in 6 games.
Anuk Fernando of Fairfirst Insurance finished as the top run-getter of the tournament amassing 385 runs in 9 matches at 48.13 while Thanuka Dabare of Fairfirst Insurance became the highest wicket-taker of the tournament with 21 wickets in 8 matches at 14.38.

Meanwhile, the final of the 30th Singer-MCA Super Premier League T20 tournament between the same finalists (Hayleys Group and CL Synergy Limited) has been postponed to 24th May due to the inclement weather conditions in the island.
