NCC were bowled out for 239 early on day 3 as Badureliya SC cruised to their target of 95 runs before lunch with Nadeera Nawela scoring a brisk half century.
The NCC last pair of Tharindu Kaushal and Roshen Fernando showed stubborn resistance as they posted 60 runs for the last wicket, stretching their lead to 94 runs. Kaushal made 41 runs while Fernando remained unbeaten on 19. Duvindu Tillakaratne picked up his second 5 wicket haul of the match while he got good support from skipper Alankara Asanka who picked up 3.
Badureliya reached their target of 95 runs in the 16th over and were home for lunch on day 3 as first innings half centurion Nadeera Nawela struck another 39 ball half century.
Earlier in the game NCC were restricted to 185 all out thanks to a six wicket haul by left arm spinner Duvindu Tillakaratne while Badureliya SC replied with 330 all out in their first innings. Nadeera Nawela, Shehan Fernando and Sahan Wijeratne recorded half centuries for them.
