D.S.Senanayake got their quarter final spot booked in their Pre-Quarter final match against Dharmasoka College Ambalangoda. Having won the toss, Dharmashoka opted to bat first which turned out to be a bad decision as they were bowled out for just 132 runs in 44 overs. Senitha Helabage was the top scorer with 49 runs to his name. D.S.Senanayake in reply were 115 for the loss of 4 wickets at the end of the day.

St. Joseph College (B) were bowled out for a very low total of 60 runs in 26.1 overs. Hemal Vewmika and Sakith Perera picked three wickets eached while Kelumina Rajapakshe chipped in with 2 wickets at the end for Galahitiyawa. In reply Galahitiyawa managed to put on 190 all out in 45.1 overs to win first innings points and go through to the final 8. Kelumina Rajapakshe top scored with a brisk 77 with Ranuga Gunawardana scoring 63 runs.

St.Sebastian’s College Moratuwa, put in a smooth performance against Kalutara Vidyalaya to qualify for the Quarters. Having batted first, they put on 182 runs for the loss of 5 wickets and displayed a dominant performance with the ball, dismissing the Kalutara team for just 103 runs in 40 overs. For the Sebs, Dyrel Baskaran hammered 57 runs with Ruwaneth Kumaradasa and Thihaisha Mendis chipping in with twenties. Four of their bowlers picked up two wickets each while bowling.
