Tier A encounter between Dimo and MAS Silueta of the 26th Singer MCA Premier League tournament, was conducted today at Colts Cricket grounds in Colombo. Leg spinner Matheesha Perera and right arm fast medium bowler Kavishka Anjula were brilliant with the ball to guide Dimo to victory.

After winning the toss, Dimo skipper opted to bat first but posted only 210 runs all-out in 48.5 overs. Nipun Karunanayake (37) and Pathum Madushanka (34) top scored for Dimo. Right arm leg spinner Dushan Hemantha showed his tricks with the ball picking up 4 wickets for 57 runs. In addition, right arm fast medium bowler Buddika Sanjeewa, the leading wicket taker of the tournament, picked up 3 wickets for 47 runs.

However, MAS Silueta could not chase down the modest target of 211 runs as they were bowled out for 166 runs in 42.2 overs. Left handed stroke maker Dananjaya Lakshan top scored for MAS Silueta with 38 runs. Matheesha Perera and Kavishka Anjula starred with the ball for Dimo sharing 7 wickets between them.
