Thillakaratne Dilshan has been ruled out of the Tri-Series in the West Indies due to a torn calf muscle. Dilshan picked up the injury during Sri Lanka’s semi-final match against India on Thursday.
Sri Lanka face India and the West Indies in an ODI Tri Series that begins on the 28th of June. Dilshan who has been diagnosed with a second degree tear in the calf muscle, has been advised to rest for a period of four to six weeks. A team replacement is likely to be announced soon, and it is believed that the replacement will be chosen from the Sri Lanka A squad that is currently touring the West Indies.
