Sri Lankan speedster Dilshan Madushanka has been ruled out from the upcoming Indian Premier League 2024 due to injury.
Madushanka who was set to make his IPL debut representing Mumbai Indians, sustained a left hamstring injury during the second ODI against Bangladesh.

The 17-year old left-arm South African seamer Kwena Maphaka who won the player of the tournament award at the recently concluded ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 has been named as his replacement in Mumbai Indians squad.

Maphaka will join Mumbai Indians for his base price of INR 50 Lakhs.
