Galle registered a comprehensive 7-wicket win over Jaffna in their encounter of the National Super League 4-day tournament worked off today (20th March) at Hambantota.

Kandy vs Dambulla
Kandy resumed their second innings on day four at 134/3 and posted 278/9 before declaring the innings setting a massive target of 509 runs for Dambulla.
The skipper Kamindu Mendis notched up his second half-ton in the game posting 88 runs off 175 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes. The left-arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara bagged a match bag of 12 wickets as he snared 5 more wickets in the second innings.
Having to chase down a massive 509 to win in just two sessions, the run-chase was never on for Dambulla, but they managed to give a good fight with the bat posting 213 runs for 4 wickets.
Nimesha Gunasinghe who scored 102 runs off 153 balls with 10 fours showed great fighting spirits saving the game for Dambulla.
