Kingswood College vs Vidyartha College at Bogambara
The Kingsman will be entering this game with a point to prove and with their sights set on a first win.
Vidyartha College will be aiming to bounce back from their fighting defeat to Royal as they look to get their season back on track!
Both teams were defeated in week 2 of the League and this will be a prime opportunity for them to bounce back with a win.
Prediction: Vidyartha to win by 10+

DS Senanayake College vs St. Anthony’s College at Havelock Park
The Dons pulled a rabbit out of the bag in week 2 defeating the mighty-not so mighty Trinity Lions at Havelock Park, kicking the group wide open.
They take on an Antonian team wounded after two rounds and no wins.
DS will no doubt be favourites who will be aiming to keep their unblemished record in tact while the visitors will be hungry to record their first win.
The Dons backline has been in sublime form and we could expect more of the same while the Antonian Eagles will need to brush up their plan and execution as they have been found wanting time and time again during this campaign.
Prediction: Dons to win by 7+

Thurstan College vs St. Joseph’s College at Air Force Grounds, Rathmalana
The hosts have has a dreadful start to their campaign and sit at the foot of the table with 2 massive defeats.
The Josephians, meanwhile, they have looked shaky and scrappy even with a set of big forwards and a wobbly three-quarterline.
This will be the ideal game for the lads from Maradana to put their wrongs right while for Thurstan, they will be hoping that it will not be more of the same.
Prediction: St. Joseph’s to win by 35+

Zahira College vs Royal College at Maradana
Zahira College looked promising in patches last weekend but their inability to close out the game meant they felt to their second defeat in as many week.
Royal on the other hand, are with 2 wins from 2 and in a comfortable position on the table, going into their game against Zahira College.
Royal are clear cut favourites but if Zahira are able to come out of this game unscathed, that would probably be the first shock of the Dialog Schools’ Rugby League 2024.

Isipathana College vs Dharmaraja College at Havelock Park
Isipathana looked good in passages last weekend, but execution let them down as they failed to gain the all-important bonus point.
Dharmaraja College managed to get their first win last weekend and they will be brimming with confidence.
Dharmaraja will know that they have a task at hand if they are to beat Isipathana, however, the Green Machine, the force they are, will look to fine tune their errors going forward to be a force to be reckon with!
Prediction: Isipathana to win by 8+

St. Peter’s College vs Wesley College at Bambalapitiya
This will be the first test of sorts for the Holders as they managed to make a mockery out of Thurstan and Kingswood in the two previous weeks.
St. Peter’s look the part and the team to beat, however, they are brimming with form under the watchful eye of experience coach Sanath Martis.
Wesley College are one of three teams unbeaten in group 2A and it will no doubt be a task for the Les-Blue to hang on to that tag at the end of week 3.
Peters are the overwhelming favourites, but if there is one team that could pull a surprise, that would be Wesley College.
Prediction: St. Peter’s by 5+

Sri Sumangala College vs Trinity College at Bogambara
Sri Sumangala are getting a taste of ‘A’ Division Rugby and its as sour as it gets.
Trinity College on the other hand, have made history within two games, for all the wrong reasons.
The Lions come in as favourites, but Fazil and co will no doubt have a bit more homework to do as they aim to dismantle a sorry looking Sri Sumangala outfit.
Prediction: Trinity to win by 15+

Science College vs S. Thomas College at Air Force Grounds
Science College have always tested mid-table opponents and the Thomians, in a Mount derby, will know what sort of a test they are up against.
The visitors managed to get over the line against the Eagles at the Big Club Grounds last week, while Science College failed to trouble Isipathana, in a game which looked like they could upset.
This weekend though, both teams will no doubt fancy their chances, but both teams will need to bring their A game and execute better if they are to make the short trip back home.
The game is a 50/50 but the odds will be in favor of the home team as they look a better drilled outfit under coach Chamara Vithanage.
Prediction: Science to win by 7+
