The Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association (SLSRFA) yet again organized the Schools U19 Elite Rugby 7s for the year 2024, which kicked off today (20th April) at the Royal Sports Complex. Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, proudly provided the corporate sponsorship for this tournament in order to empower the young Rugby talent in Sri Lanka.
Day 01 was packed with group stage matches and Bowl Quarter Finals, which provided the spectators today with some spectacular Rugby action.
The 19 teams are divided into 8 groups, with 5 groups of two teams and 3 groups of three teams.

The second day’s action will start tomorrow (21st April) at 9.20 a.m. with the Relegation match between Sri Sumangala College and Nalanda College. The big games in the Cup segment will kick off at 9.40 a.m.
