Air Force’s victory against Kandy was crafted by Ashok Vijekumar, who handled the entire 80 minutes of play admirably at scrum-half, brushing shoulders with national scrum half Roshan Weeraratne. Facing the Cops at home, it will be important for him to adjust to playing in the Police Park conditions and continue his good form.
The Airmen will rely on the efforts of Ramdas Rumesh who was the top point scorer in their earlier outing with two tries.
Police’s stand out player, Radeesha Seneviratne will look to lead the charge for the Policemen to get them to their 1st win. Seneviratne’s capability to adapt to both forwards play and three-quarters was evident the last encounter with him playing #8 and scrum half.
Center Chula Susantha did not have the best outing last weekend and he will be intending to better himself against the Air Force where he will be given the freedom to run.

Chamara Dabare was the missing piece in the puzzle for the Havelock three-quarter line up and also contributed with a try covering a good 60m. It will be interesting to see the speedster back on track against a strong CR XV.
CR & FC’s ever consistent Rizah Mubarak will continue his kicking stint in the red jersey but will desperately want to take his team to victory this weekend against their hometown rivals. Mubarak was the standout performer last week, kicking two penalties and a conversion in a loss against Navy.
