The country’s premier club sevens tournament sponsored by Sri Lanka’s No. 1 Sports Promoter Dialog Axiata, is set to kick off on the 29th of June 2019 at the Racecourse Grounds with the participation of the top clubs in the country.

The tournament will be the opener for the sevens season in 2019 and will be followed up by the Mercantile Sevens and the Schools 7’s tournaments.
Last year, the tournament was held in two legs and Kandy and CR & FC emerged victorious in the respective legs. However, it was CH & FC led by Rohitha Rajapakse who took the series title based on points.

With a whole new season set to start, all clubs have been busy finalizing their squads ahead of the anticipated tournament.

The draw and the fixtures for the tournament will be announced shortly.
Meanwhile the Division II tournament will be played on the 14th and 15th of July 2019. The venue and draw are yet to be finalized.
