Though Army did not score Madushan kept his good form going creating a few chances which unfortunately the returning Mohamed Issadeen couldn’t poke home.
Priyankara has been at the heart of the Negombo Youth revival from mid-season and with another goal and a Man of the Match performance, he definitely deserves his place.

Figurado has been immense this season for the 2014 champions and against Army he bossed the midfield while starting the attacking moves.
Farood got his opportunity after a string of injuries for Super Sun at the beginning of the season and he has never looked back. Starting from defense now he controls the midfield and got his first Champions League goal against Thihariya Youth.
