David Pieris Group of Companies (DPGC) has extended its sponsorship of the Mercantile ‘E’ Division Cricket Tournament for the 20th consecutive year. This is the second longest sponsorship in the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) tournament history.
The official handing over of the sponsorship took place on the 04th January at the MCA Fine Diner “The Pitch” with the participation of Mrs. Romani Parakrama, Director Group Corporate Communications, David Pieris Motor Co. (Pvt) Ltd., Nalin Wickramasinghe, MCA President, Rohan Somawansa, MCA Asst. Secretary / Chairman sponsorship Committee, Tarindra Kaluperuma, MCA Gen Secretary, Ms. Nadi Dharmasiri, Group Chief Marketing Communications Officer, DP Holdings and Ajantha Premasiri, Chief Marketing Officer, Assetline Finance Ltd.
The 20th David Pieris Group of Companies sponsored, “DPGC” Challenge Trophy MCA- “E” Division 25 Over League Tournament 2023 got off to a start on the 10th of December with 17 teams participating pooled into 03 groups.
