The “Celebrity Football Match” organized by The Past Prefects’ Association of Zahira College Colombo, will be worked off on Wednesday, 8th October 2014 at Zahira College Grounds, Maradana at 4:00 p.m between a team of “ALL STARS” and “CRICKET STARS”.
The Cricket stars team will be led by National cricketer Mahela Jayawardene and his former national team mates Chaminda Vaas, Romesh Kaluwitharana, Upul Chandana and also includes Champaka Ramanayake and Graham Labrooy.
The All-stars team will line up with popular personalities of various sectors like National Rugby, Soccer, Business, Artists and Media such as the managing director of Hameedia’s, Fouzul Hameed who will lead the All Star team which will include Kishu Gomes, managing director of Chevron Texaco Global Lubricants (Caltex), Hisham Abdeen former national rugby captain and Roshan Watawala media presenter etc…
