Colombo Rowing Club (CRC), the Islands premier rowing fraternity will be holding their annual opening regatta on the 23rd of July 2016.
Founded in the year 1864, CRC is one of the oldest rowing clubs in the region and has been instrumental in providing the Island’s oarsmen and women the opportunity to engage in rowing as a sport and to build fellowship and interaction.
With a membership of 12 institutions and over 350 oarsmen/women of novice, intermediary and senior levels, many of whom are expected take part in what will be the kick starter of the Island’s rowing calendar, the regatta is set to start the rowing season with a bang.
This year the oarsmen & women will take to waters of Beira to compete in the following events.

• HMS Enterprise (Mixed Crews)
• U14 Scull
• U14 Four
• Jnr. Scull
• Jnr. Pair
• Jnr. Four
• Masters Four
