Sri Lanka Ports Authority CC recorded their 4th outright win in 4 matches as the 5th week of the SLC Premier League Tournament 2014/15 ended with Tamil Union, NCC and SL Army joining the party with outright wins yet Kithuruwan Vithanage’s record-breaking 351 was the main highlight of the weekend.
Front-runner SL Ports sitting pretty in the group B points table with 66 points while Moors SC closely behind on 64 points. Defending champions, NCC enjoy the top place in the group A with 79 points and dark horses of this season, Badureliya SC claiming the 2nd spot with 50 points under their name.
The biggest highlight of the week was Tamil Union batsman Kithruwan Vithanage’s sparkling 351, which re-wrote the record book as the highest first class domestic score in Sri Lanka, erasing Thilina Kandamby’s 340 that was set two years ago.

Ashan Priyanjan and Dhananjaya De Silva slammed superb tons while Malinda Pushpakumara took a 10-wicket match bag as Sri Lanka Ports Authority CC completed a mammoth 215-run win over Chilaw Marians CC at R. Premadasa Stadium.
