The final and decisive weekend in the SLC Premier League Tournament 2014/15 group stage commenced on Friday in Colombo and its suburbs with many teams battling for their places in the Super Eight stage.
Many games got off to delayed starts due to the early morning rains.
Colts vs Ragama
Three blistering half-tons by Shehan Fernando, Shehan Jayasuriya and Kusal Perera helped Colts take honours on day one against Ragama at Colts grounds.

Bloomfield vs Tamil Union
Primosh Perera struck a half-century for Bloomfield as they got off to a sedate start against Tamil Union at P. Sara Oval grounds.

Chilaw Marians vs SSC
Right-arm leg spinner Jeffrey Vandersey’s five-wicket haul restricted Chilaw Marians to 269 at R. Premadasa International Stadium.

SL Ports vs Moors
Left-arm spin twins, Malinda Pushpakumara and Shanuka Dissanayake shared 7 wickets amongst them against Moors at Braybrooke Place.

NCC vs SL Air Force
Veteran Jehan Mubarak and youngster Lahiru Udara stroked half-tons for NCC against the Airmen at Maitland Place.
