The week one matches of the SLC Premier League Tournament 2014/15 ended with Colts Cricket Club, Nondescript Cricket Club and Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket registering outright wins.
NCC completely outclassed Badureliya SC by an innings and 114 runs while Colts shut down Air Force by 9 wickets. SL Ports Authority eased to an innings and 3-run win over CCC. All other three matches ended as drawn encounter yet Ragama, Moors and SSC bagged first innings points.
NCC opening batsman Niroshan Dickwella’s superlative double-ton was the biggest highlight of the week while 10 other batsman made hundreds for their respective clubs. Recently Sri Lanka debuted off-spinner Tharindu Kaushal continued his wicket-taking prowess in domestic cricket as he captured two five-wicket hauls to complete a ten-wicket match bag. SL Ports Authority Left-arm spinner Malinda Pushpakumara scarfed up the CCC batting lineup twice with a nine-wicket match bag.
