Former Sri Lankan fast bowler and renowned fast bowling coach Champaka Ramanayake is set to be appointed as the High-Performance Unit’s Head Coach at Bangladesh Cricket.
Toby Radford who had been working as the Head Coach of High-Performance Unit will not be available for the upcoming Bangladesh emerging team’s home series against the Ireland Wolves.

Speaking to Cricbuzz, High Performance Unit Manager Jamal Babu confirmed that Sri Lankan Ramanayake will replace Radford as the Head Coach for the series against Ireland Wolves, which involves one four-day game, five one-day matches and two T20s.

“Toby is not coming during the home series against Ireland Wolves as he is sick and won’t be able to travel to Bangladesh. Champaka has already joined the training camp in Chattogram and he will be in charge during the series,” Jamal Babu told Cricbuzz.
