Seylan Bank’s Chamil Cooray, Captain of the Sri Lankan carom team, won the gold medal for the ‘Swiss League Single’ event at the fourth World Cup Carrom Championship 2014.
Participants from 17 countries competed in this championship which consisted of seven rounds. Chamil winning seven out of seven matches secured the gold for Sri Lanka. During his winning streak, he defeated some of the best players of the world.
